kapatids in bantayan

that video is the sad part of our trip. let me write about the happy side of it.

mash and i, well, before we even met, we're connected in some ways. one instance, we graduated in the same primary school. we're also both aries. his bday- march 25. mine- march 23. so it wasn't hard at all for us to get along with each other.

summer of 2007, we were bored with our lives and decided to get the most out of the season. without any idea of the places, we went to initao national park and tinago falls in iligan city. and now 2 years had passed and B1 thought of what B2 also thought. without second thoughts, off we were to bantayan island and pursued the visayas leg of our summer escapades which shall be held every two years. hahaha. what the heck.

good things:

1. the waves during the barge trip. that was super fun although it caused me headache. but that was great. the barge swaying with the big waves felt like a carnival ride--- a very long one. imagine the thrill!

2. no sunburn. the sun never got the chance to touch our skin (as if only Belo touches it). thankful!

3. less turistas. here goes the cynic me again. but really, i hate a pandemonium (appropriate ba ang term). if sun was up by then, there were probably so many people in the beach. i wouldn't have liked that.

4. above all, tons of things the kapatids talked about. it was so amazing to know how your friend has grown through time; that you remain friends amidst distance; and even if more people come into one's life contributing new experiences, still, the laughter and joy that bonded you together stay relevant.
